Scholastic Steel Challenge Rules  

We will use the following stages from SSC
Smoke & Hope
Five to Go
Speed Option
Roundabout
Mystery Stage (we are making this one up, min 20 rounds) one run only
Max time 30 sec

You will shoot each stage 5 times (except stage 5) with your worst run thrown out.

Divisions:
Open = min .38cal, any optic. This group will not be part of the match.
Limited = min .38cal, no optics
The match is limited to standard caliber iron sight hand guns.  If you want to shoot the match with your open gun, you may do so, but it is not eligible for a trophy
and will be scored separatelly.

Min round count 120.

Lewis Scoring  

It’s cold out, no point in opening your coat and allowing in the cold air or having frozen fingers drop a gun on the draw or fumble a mag. All stages will start with the firearm in the strong hand at the low ready. All mags will be laid on the table, if done right you will only load off the clock. Max load is 10 rounds, you may start with 10+1. Recommend having at least 6 loading devices. All pistols will be carried from stage to stage in a pouch/bag, no need for a holster.

Lunch will not be provided and there are no food facilities.  Bring your own lunch and beverages.  We will have coffee available all day.
